TABLE OF CONTENTS

I’m a Shopify Plus brand and I’m not able to see the Free and Starter plans in the pricing page

We’re proud to share that we recently achieved Shopify Plus certification, which reflects our dedication to maintaining the highest industry standards.

With this certification, we must meet rigorous requirements tailored to the needs of Shopify Plus merchants. As a result, we’ve had to revise our pricing model and can no longer support Free and Starter plans for Plus merchants.

We understand the challenge from a budget perspective, but we do have a 30-day free trial that you can try to ensure that you are seeing sufficient value from the app before you commit to the paid plan.

Given the rich and compelling set of features we include in the Pro and Premium plans, Shopify Plus brands will easily be able to see sufficient value that justifies the price of the app.

For Shopify Plus brands, Wishlist Plus has been delivering powerful results.

  • Wild Oak Boutique saw a 100% increase in conversions, and GAÂLA generated 11% of their online revenue directly from wishlist activity.
  • White Oak Pastures enjoyed 4X higher conversion rates, thanks to Wishlist Plus's seamless integration.
  • By leveraging wishlists, personalized notifications, and automated retargeting, Shopify Plus brands like Cirque Colors and POPFLEX have boosted AOV and customer engagement, with POPFLEX adding over 90K customers to their marketing funnel.

And we can help you achieve that too! You can download Wishlist Plus here: apps.shopify.com/swym-relay/ and our dedicated in-house Customer Success team are more than happy to work with you to get you the most out of our app.

You can read more success stories here: https://swym.it/customers/.

We deeply value your business and remain committed to delivering exceptional service and support. If you have any questions or need assistance, we’re here to help.

The app appears to be loading with a slight delay on the storefront

The slight delay you’re noticing is because our app’s scripts are intentionally designed to load only after all of your website’s scripts have finished loading. This approach ensures that our app doesn’t block or interfere with any of your store’s functionalities, providing a smooth experience for your customers.

If faster button loading is a priority, we recommend adding your own custom Wishlist buttons directly to your site’s code. This not only allows the buttons to blend seamlessly with your product and collection pages but also enables them to load as part of your website’s layout.

Of course, you can also continue using the current setup, but implementing custom buttons can enhance the perceived performance of your store for users.

If you’d like to explore this option, here are some help articles that will help you with that:

Feel free to reach us at support@swymcorp.com if you'd like assistance with this process!

I’m looking to disable the Add to Cart button on the Wishlist page (for certain products)

If you’d like to disable the ‘Add to Cart’ button on the Wishlist page, we have a few options for that:

  1. Hide the 'Add to Cart' button on all the products
    • This is a fairly simple change from our end, and no action is required from your side.
  2. Hide the 'Add to Cart' button on specific products
    • With this solution, we can completely hide the button only for certain products in the Wishlist UI, and the rest of the products have the 'Add to Cart' button as usual.
    • To implement this solution, please add the tag 'swym-hide-addtocart' to all the products where you would like to hide the 'Add to Cart' button.
    • We do have an option to make our app adapt to an existing tag. So if you are already using a tag for all these products, please let us know at support@swymcorp.com and we shall adjust this for our app.
    • This solution also requires modifying the app code from our backend, so please let us know if you are going with this option.
  3. Disable the 'Add to Cart' button on specific products
    • With this solution, we can disable the button (make it greyed out, and non-clickable) only for certain products, and the rest of the products have the 'Add to Cart' button as usual.
    • We can also change the text displayed instead of 'Add to Cart' on the disabled button.
      • For example, we can show 'Coming Soon' instead, or anything of your choice. I've attached an image for your reference.
    • To implement this solution, please add the tag 'swym-disabled-addtocart-with-text' to all the products where you would like to disable the 'Add to Cart' button.
    • Once again, please let us know if you are already using any existing tag for these products, and we can make our app adapt to it.
    • Let us know if you'd like to go with this solution, along with the custom text you'd like to display in the disabled button, and we shall make the necessary changes from our end.

It is worth noting that the app can currently read only one tag for this functionality and it cannot read multiple tags as of today. If this is inconvenient for you, please feel free to use our default tag to avoid any confusion. Hope that helps!

Furthermore, to complement the changes for the above options, we can also add a change to our app where clicking on any product card in the Wishlist UI will redirect the user to its product page.

Please let us know which of the above options you would like to proceed with, and we shall make the necessary changes to our app's backend accordingly.

Default UI

ATC button disabled

I have a slider cart implementation, and when I add a product to cart from the Wishlist, it is not updating the cart

The implementation of Slider Cart is usually dynamic in nature.

  • In our default app experience, adding a product to a dynamically rendering cart from the wishlist page does not immediately reflect in the cart or update the cart counter until the page is refreshed.
  • This is because the wishlist UI and dynamic cart UI cannot be linked automatically in the current system.

The solution to this use case is to use custom JavaScript events.

  • We can trigger and listen to a particular event and update the appropriate UI components based on that.
  • Kindly refer to this guide on triggered events for more information: https://developers.swym.it/docs/triggered-ui-events.
  • If you have a development team available, they will be able to leverage the shared guide to achieve the desired result.

Alternatively, if you'd like our team to take up the customization task, let us know.

  • We would first need to evaluate if it's feasible for us to write JavaScript to integrate with the slider cart.
  • We need this information because in some cases, it's not possible for us to integrate with certain carts due to the complexity or lack of relevant Event Listeners to implement this.
  • After analyzing the feasibility of the task, if we deem it doable, we would take it up as a paid customization. We would provide you with a quote based on the estimated number of development hours.

In the meantime, as a stopgap solution, we can disable the 'Add to Cart' button on the Wishlist page and enable product redirection.

  • This essentially means that when a shopper clicks on a product in the wishlist UI, they would be redirected to the product page, from where they can add the item to the cart directly.

Please let us know which option you prefer, and we'll proceed accordingly!

I’d like to export my Wishlist data

You can reach out to us at support@swymcorp.com and we’d be happy to get you the exported data!

I’d like to import Wishlist data to Wishlist Plus

We do offer support in importing your Wishlist contents. We would need the exported Wishlist data (in CSV format, preferably) to include fields such as email, product ID, variant ID, product variant URL, etc.

Here’s an image of all the fields we accept as part of the import process and what each one refers to. Please have a look and let us know if there's anything we can help you with.

Please note that the Import requires some manual work on our end - and as a result, it includes an additional cost for the import task based on the amount of data (the number of rows in the file).

Once the file is ready, you can reach us at support@swymcorp.com and we’ll guide you from there!

If you have any further questions regarding the Import that we can answer, you can drop us a note at support@swymcorp.com and we’d be more than happy to address your queries :)

I’d like to change the URL of the Wishlist page to a custom URL

To change the default URL of the Wishlist URL, you can navigate to your

→ Shopify Admin

→ Online Store

→ Pages

→ click on the page named Wishlist

→ Edit Website SEO

→ If the URL is "/swym-wishlist", change it to the URL you prefer.

Here are a few images for your reference that will guide you through the same:

Please note that two pages will be injected from our end by default, and both are called "Wishlist". One is the default Wishlist UI page which has the URL "swym-wishlist" by default, and the other is the Share Wishlist page which has the URL "swym-share-wishlist" by default. Please keep this in mind when editing the URLs and edit them accordingly.

This does require adjusting the backend of our app to identify this new URL as well, so please let us know once you have changed the URL and we shall make the necessary changes from our end.

I’m looking to translate the app to a different language

We do offer a way to translate our app to any language you prefer on all our paid plans. To access the ‘Multi-language editor’, you can navigate to

→ Swym Admin

→ Wishlist Plus (under CONFIGURE)

→ Multi-language support

Here you can choose the language you’d like to translate our app to. We offer a wide range of languages to translate to by default.

  • If you can’t find the language you’re looking for, or if you’re not satisfied with any part of the translation, you have full control over all the strings/text displayed through our app so you can even individually customize them within the same editor.

Please note: Once the feature is set up, the app’s language will adapt based on the store’s language automatically.

  • To ensure this is seamless, please select the right language from the list first, and then customize the strings as required.

While we provide a wide range of languages, if you’re not able to find yours, or if you’re using any custom locale logic, feel free to reach out to us at support@swymcorp.com and we’re here to help in any way we can!

Privacy Policy/GDPR compliance

Here is our privacy policy for more information regarding the collection, use and disclosure of information we receive:

If a customer has been browsing without signing in, how do they save their Wishlist? Are all the products going to be lost?

Our app is designed in a way that if a user adds a product to the wishlist and then logs in using their email, all the products they Wishlisted are saved to their email account and they don't lose out on the Wishlisted products.

The emails are being sent through Swym by default. I’d like to send them from my (custom) email domain.

You can certainly send emails directly from our app using your email domain by integrating with an Email Service Provider (ESP). We'll need to set up an integration with your ESP since simply changing the email from our backend won't suffice given how our email flows are set up.

Integrations allow us to send triggers, off of which emails can be sent from the email domain set up in your ESP. We do offer integrations with a wide range of ESPs in the industry, like Klaviyo, Omnisend, Mailchimp, etc. and we’re adding more integrations to the list frequently!

You can check out all the ESP integrations we provide by navigating to

→ Wishlist Plus

→ Integrations

You can look for the ESP you’re currently using, and if you can’t find your ESP in that list, feel free to reach us at support@swymcorp.com and we shall let you know the feasibility of the integration :)

I just installed Wishlist and completed the setup, but I’m not able to view the Wishlist features on my store

Make sure you’ve enabled the app on the live theme or the theme you are working on. You can do that by navigating to

  • → Online Store
    → Themes
→ Theme Customizer (of the theme you are working with)
→ App Embeds (where you enable/disable apps)
→ Wishlist Plus (Enable/Toggle it on)
  • Once you enable the app here, it should start working as expected.

If you’ve recently installed the app and are trying to preview it on the store for the first time but it’s not showing up on your store, it is likely due to a cache-related issue on your browser. Please try using this format of link to clear the app’s cache on your browser: [shop URL]/?swaction=clearcache

  • Please note, the cache automatically resets after every session (~30 mins), so you don’t have to do this all the time. Therefore, your customers will also not have to do this to view their Wishlist.
  • This procedure is followed only at times when a new change is published to the app, but the app’s cache from the previous session is taking over only on your browser.

If you’re facing any issues with any particular feature, please let us know via chat or via email at support@swymcorp.com.

I’d like to get in touch with Support

You can connect with our support team via email at support@swymcorp.com or via chats from your Wishlist Plus app embed in your Shopify Admin

After adding a product to cart from Wishlist, it is not updating the cart unless i refresh the page

It is likely that you have the Slider Cart enabled on your store, which is dynamic in nature.

Is it possible to import data into your app?

How to save my Wishlist?

Our app is designed in a way that if a user adds a product to the wishlist and then logs in using their email, all the products they Wishlisted are saved to their email account and they don't lose out on the Wishlisted products.

How do I send emails from my email domain

The app is not working (Wishlist Plus/Back in Stock Alerts)
